  • Can teams of unequal number of players play TRANSLITER8? (2 vs 1 or 2 vs 3)

Yes, they can. TRANSLITER8 is a game designed to accommodate any number of players from 2 to 6 with rules that you can find in the "Rules & Instructions" book found in your TRANSLITER8 box.


  • Can team members discuss their moves and playing strategy with each other during the game?

Yes, they can. TRANSLITER8 is a game that encourages team spirit and enhances team building skills and communication in a joyful way.


  • Can a letter be moved from one word set to another to complete it?

Yes, and it is counted one of the moves per turn.


  • If the main card deck ran out of cards during the game, how would the game be continued?

The whole discard pile should be shuffled and placed as the main deck to draw cards from.



  • Does the "Eye of Horus" action card allow a player to choose only one of their opponents to reveal their hands? Or can they reveal all the opponent players' hands?

It can reveal only the cards of a single chosen opponent.


  • Can a team member use the "Was Sceptre" action card to cancel an opponent's action that is not used directly against their team? (The Opponent used the "Sun of Aten" to Play Again or the "Seba" to complete their words)

No, they can't as the objection can only be used against actions that cause direct harm to their team.


  • If a player uses the "Was Sceptre" action card to cancel the effect of one of the opponent's action cards, can the opponent play the same card as well to cancel the objection and reactivate the first action card?

Yes, they can. Any team member could play an objection card against their opponent's objection to regain control and make their first action valid.
However, if the opponent has a third one, they may also play it if they want to, and this continues until a team runs out of objection cards, and the team that plays it last gains the upper hand this round.


  • Can a player completely learn the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs by playing TRANSLITER8?

No, they can't. TRANSLITER8 may be considered the very first -FUN way- step in learning hieroglyphs, it just introduces the users and opens the door for those willing to continue the journey.
