We Played to Work, We Worked to Play


GAMENEERS, a dream that has initiated in Cairo University’s architecture studios and came to life to fill the world with joyful products that brings joy to your mind and soul. This is a story of 5 architectural engineers and friends who once were 4 students and their teaching assistant. The TA used different teaching techniques than the usual ones which included fun, games and even magic.

That’s when he found a group of students who loved it and thought just the same, where they all believed that value can be conveyed through joy and games and that joy can always be a powerful solution to change people’s mindsets, attitudes, and lives.

Each one had his own different edge; there was the mass producer, the visual presenter, the idea developer, the storyteller, and the team leader. This perfect recipe was a potential for a group whose purpose is to transform the joyful spirit of the group to an actual project that aims to change the world to a better place through spreading joy.

Countless brainstorming sessions were held, thinking of different games to start with to introduce their perspective to the market, until they reached the idea of starting from the origins, where it all began, EGYPT.

They wanted to introduce people to the perfection of Egyptian history, educate them about the incredible hieroglyphic alphabets, and do it all in a form of a game that provides joy and education simultaneously, starting with "TRANSLITER8" as their first product.

They followed their dream to keep gamifying the world together, they knew what they want to be, and how they want to do it; the engineers who build personalities not just buildings, known as “GAMENEERS”.
